Plain language on purpose. These terms were drafted from the applicable statutes and are scheduled for independent legal review; if any wording here ever conflicts with a law that protects you, the law wins.
My Deed Back is a brand of 1001590704 Ontario Inc., an Ontario, Canada corporation. Mailing address: 3520 Ketelbey Court, Burlington, ON L7M 3B4, Canada. Email: support@mydeedback.com.
Educational information: guides, playbooks, checklists and fill-in letter templates about exiting a timeshare, delivered digitally. You are not buying a service. We do not contact your developer, negotiate on your behalf, prepare documents for your specific situation, list or sell your timeshare, or represent you in any way. We are not a law firm, and nothing we sell is legal, financial or tax advice.
Timeshare developers and their exit programs are independent of us. Program names are used only to identify them. A developer may change or close a program at any time; where a tier includes updates, we will update the affected playbook and notify buyers by email.
Your purchase is a single-household licence: you may use the materials for your own timeshare matters, print them, and share them with your spouse, co-owner or attorney. You may not resell, republish or distribute them.
Your developer decides whether to accept your timeshare back. We do not guarantee an exit, a timeline, or a financial result. Buying our materials does not stop your obligation to pay maintenance fees, assessments, taxes, or any loan. Keep paying until your exit is complete and confirmed in writing by your developer.
What we collect and why. The exit-route checker asks which developer you own with, whether a loan balance exists, whether your fees are current, and how you own (week or points). We use the answers only to show your route. If you give us your email, we use it to send your route, your purchase, and occasional updates. If you buy, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card; we never see or store card numbers.
What we never collect. No timeshare account numbers, no contract uploads, no Social Security or Social Insurance numbers, no banking details.
Sharing. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information. Service providers we use (email delivery, payment processing, website hosting) receive only what they need to do their job.
Email consent. We send marketing email only with your consent. A purchase also gives us implied consent under Canada's anti-spam law for up to two years; every message carries our legal name, mailing address and a one-click unsubscribe that we honour within 10 business days at the latest. Consent records (who, when, how) are kept as the law requires.
Retention and your rights. Checker answers given without an email are not stored. Email addresses are kept while you remain subscribed and deleted within 24 months of your last interaction, unless a law requires longer. You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: support@mydeedback.com. Our privacy contact is the same address. If we ever suffer a breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will report and notify as Canadian law requires.
We may update these terms; the version in force when you buy governs your purchase. Prices are in USD. Sales to buyers in the United States are exports of digital content from Canada and are not charged Canadian GST/HST; buyers located in Canada are charged the applicable GST/HST. If a dispute arises, we will try to resolve it by email first, promptly and in good faith.
